I worked as a volunteer at Spastics Society of Karnataka before joining the organization as a special educator, and then as a computer teacher and at present I am working as the Head of the Computer training & Assistive Technology. I have been associated with the Organization for the last 20 years. I have worked with children with special needs in the areas of Cerebral Palsy, Learning difficulties, Intellectual challenges and children under the autism spectrum.
I enjoy the challenge of assessing the learner for the technology needs be it low, mid or high tech and training him/her to use the same effectively.
Earlier to the spastics Society, I was involved in setting up the Computer Lab in Indian Language School, Lagos, Nigeria. I was the teacher in-charge of the computer department from Grade 6 onwards and trained students of grade 10 & 12 to prepare them for computer practicals during board exams.
I worked as a Computer Instructor teaching word processing, Lotus 123 at Eiconics Cameroon at Douala, Cameroon, West Africa.
