2 – Amrita Shergill | In this session, children will step into the world of another famous Indian artist- Amrita Shergill. They will explore her work, her styles, and techniques to understand and appreciate different types of art. They will have fun while practicing mixing colors and getting specific hues in order to paint like the artist. | 1. Learn and understand who Amrita Shergill is and what her painting technique is 2. 3 – Pablo Picasso | In this session, children will explore the art of one of the world’s most famous artists- Pablo Picasso. They will further practice articulating their thoughts while observing a given piece of art so that they are better able to understand the technique, colors, and other details. They will then attempt to mix colors and create a piece of art on the lines of Picasso’s work. | 1. Learn and understand who Pablo Picasso is and what his painting technique is 2. 4 – Salvador Dali | In this session, children will explore the interesting, illusionary world of the Spanish artist- Salvador Dali. They will get a chance to observe and understand the nature of his work and also try out some activities to think like the artist. They will then attempt to work with paint using the techniques that the artist used. | 1. Learn and understand who Salvador Dali is and what his painting technique is 2. 5 – Vincent van Gogh | In this session, children will enter the world of another famous Dutch artist- Vincent van Gogh. They will learn to observe and infer from his art the techniques and colors he used. They will create a masterpiece of their own by learning about and trying out his unique technique called ‘Impasto.’ | 1. Learn and understand who Vincent van Gogh is and what his painting technique is 2. Explore his technique of Impasto by trying it out 3.
